I did my official weigh in this morning and was disappointed to see I jumped back into the 158's after being in the 157's several days of the week. I also forgot I was going to go with a nude weight and was wearing PJ's. So, it is what it is and next week I hope it is lower!
We never did make it running yesterday, we just got too lazy after the kiddos left. So this morning we headed out for a hill run. We did the hills in our neighborhood which are killer hills since we're at the foot of the mountain. The run ended up to be 6.3 miles back to our front door. I did run up the block to my house, for the first time, in anticipation of doing the whole thing by mid July (to prepare for the Bryce half marathon with the steep down hill). It was a very good work out!
After we finished and got showered, we headed out to the Bear Lake area to take pictures of old abandoned houses. Now anyone familiar with this area knows that it is famous for fresh raspberry shakes. It is the area's call to fame. I knew this when we left and pretty much knew I would not even try to resist it. So sure enough, when we got there, I had a peanut butter cup shake. Hey, I'm just no that into raspberries - ha! ha!
Actually my eating has been really good all week and I am very pleased with myself. I decided I'd just enjoy the shake and then I'm back to calorie counting. After all, I want to get back to my goal weight and I still have to weigh in at Weight Watchers this coming week. Seems I go through this every month, huh?
